Analysis and Conceptualization of Analog Layout Techniques
Master’s thesis completed as part of the M.Sc. Communications Engineering program at the Technical University of Munich, with a specialization in Communications Electronics.
The project studies how manually developed analog layout knowledge can be evaluated, represented, and reused in a structure-aware analog layout automation flow.
The work combines:
- manual analog layout;
- quantitative and comparative evaluation;
- layout-knowledge abstraction;
- reusable analog layout generation;
- physical-design representation;
- B*-tree-based placement;
- well-domain handling;
- hierarchical assembly;
- access-aware routing.
Thesis Structure
